We are proud members of several affiliate organizations and coalitions who share missions and values with CHLDC.
We are an affiliate organization of Unidos US, the largest national Hispanic civil rights and advocacy organization in the United States.
We are a member organization of United Neighborhood Houses (UNH), a membership organization of 37 New York City community centers and settlement houses, supporting essential human services for over half a million New Yorkers through policy, advocacy, and professional development.
We are proud to partner with the Corporation for National and Community Service on the AmeriCorps program. Every year, 75,000 AmeriCorps members engage in intensive community service across the country.
We are a member organization of FPWA, which promotes the social and economic well-being of greater New York’s most vulnerable by advocating for just public policies and strengthening human services organizations.
We are a member of the Neighborhood Preservation Coalition of New York State, Inc., a statewide membership organization of community-based, not-for-profit housing companies and other interested parties committed to revitalizing New York State’s urban and suburban areas.
We could not affect change in the lives of young people in our community without the partnership of the local schools, their teachers, and administrators.
We are a member of the Coalition for Community Advancement was a group of local tenants, homeowners, leaders of community based organizations and houses of worship who advocate for the preservation of affordable housing, displacement prevention, and community benefits in East New York.
