The Cypress Hills Local Development Corporation (CHLDC) was formed in May 1983 by a group of activist residents and merchants. CHLDC is a not-for-profit community organization, serving 8,000 residents a year through a comprehensive array of community service programs and neighborhood development projects. The CHLDC's mission is to revitalize the Cypress Hills community through economic development, housing preservation, and supporting the positive development of our youth and their families.
